Azure DevOps Engineer – T24 / Java

About the opportunity

Build and maintain reliable CI/CD and release automation for Temenos T24 / Transact and Java application delivery. Work with development, testing and operations teams in Chennai to improve build quality, environment consistency and controlled deployment across the delivery lifecycle. Responsibilities • Design, implement and maintain Azure Pipelines for application build, automated testing, artifact publishing and deployment. • Create reusable pipeline templates and manage environment-specific configuration and release workflows. • Support Temenos T24 / Transact and Java build, packaging and deployment activities in collaboration with application teams. • Integrate source control, dependency management, test execution, quality checks and security scanning into CI/CD workflows. • Manage build agents, artifact repositories and deployment prerequisites, troubleshooting failed builds and releases. • Automate routine environment and operational tasks using appropriate scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices. • Implement secure handling of secrets, access controls, approval gates, release evidence and rollback procedures. • Work with development, testing and support teams on release planning, incident investigation, monitoring and continuous improvement. What you bring

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines and CI/CD automation. • Experience supporting Temenos T24 / Transact and/or Java application delivery, including build, packaging, deployment and release troubleshooting. • Working knowledge of Git, branching strategies, code-review workflows and artifact management. • Familiarity with Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle and with automated test integration. • Practical Linux and scripting skills using Bash, PowerShell or a comparable scripting language. • Understanding of environment configuration, secure secret handling, deployment approvals and rollback planning. • Strong problem-solving, documentation and collaboration skills across development, testing and operations teams. • Experience with infrastructure as code, containers, cloud services or Java-based T24 runtime environments is desirable where relevant to the assignment. • Banking-technology delivery experience is desirable.
